This dresser definitely has a change of attitude. When the bones are good, as in this Tommy Bahamas dresser, it’s worth taking it out of the garage, updating and reusing it. It gives new life to a coastal bedroom.
“Changing the wall color and using items you already have is a low cost way to transform a space.
This room had a color make-over by toning down the yellow walls with a coastal blue hue. Using the clients’ mirror and decorative items, transformed the space.

Heirloom pieces in need of costly repairs can get a facelift with TLC & paint. This vintage oak Highboy was a favorite family heirloom but was too dark for coastal living. White paint lessens the heft and bulk of a large piece of furniture.
School bus yellow transformed to mellow green.
